Snippets of April

April has flown by... That beautiful weather that we had in March feels like a dream now. Especially when for the last week or so it has rained constantly and made everyone miserable!

1. An early night with the bed to myself watching Shawshank Redemption.
2. Harry ordered a crate of Little Creatures Pale Ale from Australia. The tastiest beer ever and coolest brewery. We spent a lot of time there for the 3 months we lived in Perth. We got it from here
3. One of my new card designs for Goosey B Designs. I've got some new Washi tape arriving in the next few days so I'll be playing with new colours very soon.
4. Me and the girls who I miss heaps! An old photo from my travels when we went to the races for Ladies day.
5. My favourite carboot purchase ever. 3 vintage suitcases that were an absolute steal. New bedside table/storage!
6. My new bike - she's second hand but perfect. Shame the weather has been too crappy to go out on her!
7. Southsea Castle
8. Prosecco. The cause of my hangover last weekend. So blimmin' tasty though.
9. I went to see Bombay Bicycle Club on Tuesday night. My oh my they were amazing.... Jack Steadman is just lovely.
10. This song has soundtracked my whole weekend. I heard it on the radio the other night and have played it constantly...

So here it is again. The video is gorgeous too, can't wait to hear more from them.
Enjoy... x

Snippets of life through Instagram

I can't believe it's April already. Where did March go?!

The weather here has been beautiful for the last week or so. Highs of 23 degrees in March are usually laughed at but not this year. Southsea common became a haze of BBQ smoke, the beach was busy and people were out in force just lapping up the unseasonal amazing weather.

My toes had a fresh coat of polish for their first 2012 outing!
Some friends of ours had a BBQ up at their lovely cottage in the countryside. Us girls cooed over 8 week old baby Monty and chatted away in the sunshine, whilst the boys played Rugby and other games including Archery. (Which may I add I had a go at and beat them all. HA!) Captain the dog was looking a bit left out so I played fetch with him for a while and sneakily fed him a few scraps from lunch. I'm a sucker for those puppy dog eyes...

On Wednesday, Haz and I went for a midweek bite to eat. After stuffing ourselves at one of our favourite bar/restaurants, we decided a nice long walk home along the seafront was in order. A walk and a quick unscheduled stop at the arcades! The 2p and 10p machines entertained us for quite a while. We're both big kids really, such a funny end to the day.

I hope the weather was as nice where you were. What did you get up to?
